Tucked into the oaks just 20–30 minutes southwest of Austin, Driftwood packs several of the Hill Country's most-loved tasting rooms into a few winding miles — no long highway hauls between stops. It's the nearest true wine country to the city, and our most popular day for Austin groups: a founding name in Texas wine, an Italian-varietal specialist, and a family estate with its own brewery, all within easy reach. Neighboring Dripping Springs sits minutes up the road, which is where the brewery and distillery stops on our Mix Your Own flavor come from.
Wimberley — where the day slows down
A few minutes on sits Wimberley, a creekside village of shops, galleries, cypress-shaded patios, and some of the best small-kitchen cooking in the county. On our Wine + Village flavor, we trade the third tasting for a lunch stop — Wimberley's square, or Driftwood's famous Salt Lick BBQ just up the road — so you can stretch your legs and eat well.

Classic
Three reserved Driftwood wineries in a relaxed ~5.5-hour day. Our signature outing, and the easiest way to see the region.
Wine + Village
Two Driftwood wineries plus a lunch stop — your pick of Wimberley village (stroll the square) or Driftwood's famous Salt Lick BBQ. Runs about 30 minutes longer, with time for a relaxed lunch on your own.
Mix Your Own
Three stops, your call — mix wineries with a brewery (Lone Man Mountain or Ghost Note) or a distillery (Crowded Barrel or Dripping Springs). Beer, spirits, or one of each, chosen at checkout.

Prefer to design the whole day yourself? Our Fully Custom option is a driver + 13-seat shuttle by the hour (BYOB), from $100/hour with a 4-hour minimum.

We Pick You Up
Door-to-door in the 13-seat shuttle — no driving, no directions, no designated driver. Your exact pickup time varies by location; we confirm it on your itinerary.
First Pours
Reserved tastings begin at Driftwood's standout wineries, with a host who knows them.
Taste & (Optionally) Lunch
Keep tasting on Classic, or on Wine + Village trade a stop for lunch — Wimberley village or Salt Lick BBQ.
Home Safe
New favorites chilling in the cooler, and a ride back to your door.
Water, soft drinks, and light snacks are included on board. Add breakfast tacos, pre-ordered 48 hours ahead. Lunch isn't included — you'll have time to grab a bite at the wineries, and Wine + Village builds in a lunch stop at Salt Lick BBQ or Wimberley village.
Where We Pick You Up
Door-to-door from your home, hotel, or Airbnb, in one of our shuttles and it's free — up to 13 passengers per shuttle. One pickup address per booking, and pickup is free at every party size. Driftwood is the closest wine country to Austin, so this is the easy one for Austin groups.
Somewhere else? Just ask and we'll quote it. Doorstep pickups shift your start and return times by the drive to and from your address — your confirmed itinerary always shows exact times.

Which wineries will we visit?
A Classic day visits three of Driftwood's standout tasting rooms — typically Fall Creek Vineyards, Duchman Family Winery, and Wimberley Valley Winery. The exact line-up is confirmed on your itinerary and can flex with availability and your group's taste.
Are tasting fees really included?
Yes. Your per-person price covers transportation and every tasting fee at your reserved stops — nothing extra to pay at the winery. Lunch and any bottles you take home are the only things you'll spend on.
Can we do beer or spirits instead of all wine?
Absolutely — that's the Mix Your Own flavor. Swap a winery for a brewery — Lone Man Mountain Brewing Co. or Ghost Note Brewing — or a distillery — Crowded Barrel Whiskey Co. or Dripping Springs Distilling. Beer, spirits, or one of each; you choose your three stops at checkout.
We're just two — can we book?
Yes. Our standard tours have a four-guest minimum, but the Small Party Rate is built for parties of two or three — same wineries, same door-to-door pickup, and the whole shuttle still to yourselves. It's $210–$225 per person depending on the flavor. Monday to Thursday you can book any date; Friday to Sunday opens a week before the tour date.

Where do you pick us up?
Door-to-door from your home, hotel, or Airbnb, and it's free — Austin, San Antonio and everywhere between, at every party size. That covers Gruene, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Wimberley, Canyon Lake, Dripping Springs, Johnson City, Fredericksburg, Boerne, Kyle, Buda, Bulverde and Schertz as well as the two cities. Free covers one pickup address per booking; if you need a second stop, just ask. Farther afield, we'll quote it.
Is the tour private?
Yes, always. The shuttle is yours alone for the day and we never combine parties. Book a date and the whole 13-passenger van belongs to your group — whatever its size — and you set the pace and the start time.
What if our date isn't available?
Ask anyway. An unavailable date means another group already has the shuttle that day, and plans do change. Call or text 830-355-VINO (8466) and we'll find you the nearest date that works. If you're a party of two or three looking at a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, that date opens for small-party booking seven days ahead — tell us the date and we'll email you the moment it does.
